Just wondering I signed Dade up a few weeks ago and he is doing WONDERFUL with it. He absolutely loves it! I have it set so that he works for 30 minutes then gets to play for 15 minutes. He works so hard. He does need help occasionally but once he figures it out he does fine. Anyway, just wondering if anyone else here has used it and if so, what has been your experience with it. Do you use it as a supplement or a core curriculum? I am thinking about signing up for a whole year (at approx $150 which is about $12.50/mo).

I don't. I know a couple people who use it as a supplement and a couple people who use it as most of their school.

I had a look at it a few months back and thought it looked ok but a bit expensive and too much the same for me. I like to have a variety. I have found a few cd roms + all the free games found online is enough computer time.
Thats great that he loves it though.

There's tons of variety -- they change stuff every day. It never gets boring. If you buy it a year at a time (approx $150) It's only about $12.50/mo

Ohhh I see what you mean now. Sorry. I plan to give him lots of variety. I plan to use it as more of a supplement. Although he seems pretty content to do it all day. But I do make him get away from it and do kid stuff (and chores ). I'm just glad he enjoys it!

It does look good.. but it's too pricey for me...and paying a year ahead would be too much money out of pocket for something we may not always use..

Is there a site for it?

DS already has so many computer games though- I can hardly keep the boy away from the computer! haha! (just like his daddy...cuz he certainly doesn't get it from me... uh huh... )

Sounds like it would be a great supplement! I say if he likes it go for it!

It's http://www.time4learning.com . And you can pay for the site simply by writing one review a month (they pay $20/review. I've made $60 so far in just a few weeks ).
