Well we have been for an hour. It went pretty well... He did not wake up well at all and was hysterical pretty much the entire way home.. He's just calming down now. I was in tears most of the ride home myself.. We are now worried that it was not just that tooth but maybe for sure the other one as well. If the swelling and such doesn't go down by Thursday we have to go back and go through this again. For now he is playing his new video game, laying on his bed barking orders at me..lol... He is still rather confused about what happened.. Has asked me 15 times why his arm is bleeding.. I keep telling him it form the IV but he doesn't seem to retain that.. I hope he is completely lucid soon!

Poor guy. I hope that was it and he doesn't have to go through this again. Cameron was given conscious sedation (he was asleep though it didn't necessarily have to knock him out) for getting a cap put on when he was 4. He was out of it the whole day.

I'm glad he is getting back to normal! Hopefully, he won't have to go through it again. I sure hope he starts feeling better.

Sorry you both had such a bad experience! They didn't send you home as soon as he was awake did they? We had to wait two hours after.
