I thought we were pretty decided on Finn, but today I read the kids a story and the main character was a little lam named Lincoln. I really like that and so does dh. Do now I don't know what to think. I still love the name Finn as well. Hmmm.

Does Lincoln Finn T-bo (how our last name sounds, but is not spelled) sound weird because both Lincoln and Finn. Or Finn Lincoln T-bo? Hmmm...This isn't like my last name question where I really had a preference. I am really unsure now.

I voted for Lincoln Gabriel, but I also like Finn Lincoln. I love the name Lincoln. I was friends with someone as a teenager and her youngest brother was named Lincoln [it's Dallin H. Oaks' great-nephew actually]. He's 16 now. They homeschool. Good people. So I associate the name with him and he was a really nice kid.

I'm not a fan of last name sounding names as first names so I still went with Finn Gabriel.

I love Lincoln! I would go with that as a FN if it were me. But as for middle names, I'm not sure so I didn't vote

Girl, I can't even name my own baby... how am I supposed to name yours!? (BTW, I just noticed that I am due exactly one month ahead of you... on Sept. 22.)

I voted for Lincoln Finn, but I also really, really like Finn Gabriel. Too bad we couldn't pick more than one. (You are sure there's just one in there, right? LOL!)

I voted for Lincoln Finn because I prefer shorter names in the middle. I just think they sound better that way. I guess also Gabriel isn't a name I would choose.

edited for a silly double post

I voted Finn Gabrielle again. We considered Lincoln when we were naming Thorne but I just couldn't warm up to it then, or now. All I could see was good old Abe's beard, or hearing my son called Lin. LOL You go with what you like. I did, as you can see, and I didn't always get sunny comments on my name choices.

Well, I voted for Lincoln Gabriel, but I like Lincoln Finn as well...*shrugs* I also like the way that "Link" sounds as a shortened name, but that's always something that I think about! (I call Declan "Deco" or "Deck" all the time!)

It's amazing how much thought goes into a baby's name!

With my last pregnancy, we had our boys name all picked out and then we heard a name we really liked and couldn't decide. Guess what it was?? Yep, Lincoln! We thought Link was such a great nickname.

So I definitely like it, but Finn is cute too.

I voted Finn Gabriel again. I think it's so cute! I also couldn't get past Abe's good ol' beard.

I voted Finn Gabriel...cause I am just so in love with that name because of you.

But I also love Lincoln. I prefer Lincoln Finn instead of Finn Lincoln though.

I do think we are sticking with Finn Gabriel, but will decide for sure when he is born probably. I still call him Finn and the kids do as well. I don't want to tell people I know that we are thinking of Lincoln as well, because I know some would really want us to drop the name Finn.
