You *don't* have to vote for me of course! But I would love to see it get more votes than just within our little OCT DDC. There are a couple really beautiful shots and lots of great "buddha" bellies from which to choose.

Wow..I just can't get over the different shapes and sizes of the ladies bellies in your DDC! Some ladies look like they are ready to pop, some don't look pregnant at all and some are in the middle like you. It's amazing how woman all due in the same month can look so different.

Good luck in the contest!

The one labelled Lcoots is twins. I wonder if any others are twins.

Oh no wonder, I didn't notice that. Sharron your belly is much too cute to be a buddha!

I too am AMAZED at all the different sizes. The girl "emel" or something like that - OMG, that was sooo me at 25-26 weeks with bryce. LOL It was neat because I was going down through there and it was obvious to me who was probably carrying a girl, who had more than one child, etc. How funny! The pics are all beautiful.

lol! If we are going by how has a big belly I am soooo not going to win...or Lauren (the elmel)--I think there are about 5 of us who have fairly small tummies in comparison still.

LCoots I am pretty sure is the only one of these mamas who is having twins. We do have more who are having twins, but I don't think they are in this contest.

I LOVE Amelie's pic! I think she should win if we go by fav...not so much buddha belly. I think she looks more like a fertility goddess.

I love yours! And I also really like skyj03's. It looks like an add in a magazine. The picture is almost flawless.

Some pregnant bellies are beautiful and, well, some just aren't. I'm just being truthful. Every one is beautiful in the sense that there is a living person in there....beautiful, but not all are beautiful to look at. SkyJo3's is beautiful. I'm thinking that you aren't getting more votes for the simple fact that you can't see your belly so well in the shot. As far as the photo itself, it's beautiful.
Amelie's is nice, but not as pretty as SkyJo's to me.

I wonder how skyj03 gets the background to look like that...it is like that in most of her pics. I think I will ask her. It is soooo cool!

As for my belly not showing that much...my belly is one of the smallest, so it really isn't a buddha belly. the elmel has the smallest belly I think--hers is just a bit smaller than mine. When I do a side angle like that my tummy looks so small...straight on is worse...so I usually do 3/4 of the belly shot...looks bigger that way! But I know I will be nice and round and big by the time baby comes because I always have been.

It looks like she's either right in front of a white background or else she photoshopped herself out of the original background.

My bet is going with some sort of a white background. It also looks like she has really great lighting..maybe natural light, but it looks to me like some sort of professional lighting.
