When Cameron was a baby (until 2 1/2) he was either crying or sleeping. We have very few pictures of him as a baby not sleeping. 16 of the pictures are him sleeping and one is him crying. The flaps are Sizzix die cut mini file folders. The 18th one has the journaling inside. Now I just have to cut slits in the plastic page protectors so the tops of the file folders hang outside so they can be easily lifted. The writing on the folders says "One of these things is not like the others. One of these things just doesn't belong!" So here's the layout taken from two angles.

That is such a cute idea.... I just started working on my scrapbook again. I need to get some pictures printed so I have something to put IN the scrapbook. I got creative and put a folded up card table under my bed. Now I can work on my book on the floor and when I'm done I can leave everything set up and just push it under the bed. It doesn't take up any space. Now... where can I find the time.....

Pretty much, more or less. My mom saw a thing on HGTV or DIY a while back with flaps with letters written on it and a picture that starts with the letter under the flap, kind of a make your own lift-a-flap book. I wanted to make a layout that used lots of Cameron's sleeping pictures but I wasn't sure how to do it. Then at the scrapbook convention my mom got the mini file folder die cut and I got this flash in my head for the idea of using the lift-a-flap idea to "hide" all the pictures and use the Sesame Street "One of these things..." idea. Also, my mom has done one little lift-a-flap on layouts before. So while the basic idea my mom saw (and had done), overall how to implement it was my idea.

All of y'all who scrapbook, come to the paper scrapbooking board (there's also a digital one but I go to the paper one since I do exclusively paper scrapbooking). Some of the ladies on there are incredibly talented!
