It's me...the lurker!
I'm finally taking the time to do something more than lurk around here. I hope you aren't all thinking of taking my host title away for not fulfilling my duties!!
What has everyone been up to?
I know some of you have been very busy...and doing well blogging it too. You know who you are . I love seeing all of the pics of what everyone is up to.
We took the kids to see Ratatoule(however you spell it) today. It was cute. It wasn't a silly, funny one, but cute with a good lesson. It was also VERY long.....a full 2 hours.
Afterwards, we went for our fireworks for tomorrow. We got into them tonight, but saved plenty of them for tomorrow. I love it when Jeff just goes crazy buying them! It's so much fun!!!
He also went to the store and came back with steaks and lots of other yummy stuff to cook tomorrow. His mom and dad were hoping that we would make it to the family reunion, but we aren't going. They have another one at the end of the month...we'll make that one!
Well, I hope everyone has a great time tomorrow!

Hey!!! OHH OHH I want to take Eathan to see Rata whataver. I think he would enjoy it, but the 2 hours worries me a bit. We still aren't sure about doing fireworks. It has been REALLY dry here despite the rain we have gotten that past couple of days. We are going to at least get some sparklers for the boys and the mall by our house is going to do a big display, so we are thinking of getting on our roof to watch.

My boys want to see that movie. I have NO interest at ALL in that one. I don't know, something about a RAT in the kitchen just grosses me out, even if it is just a cartoon. I'm sure they'll see it when it comes out on DVD. My nieces will rent it for them.
I'm planning on cooking some brisket today and doing the whole BBQ thing. We'll probably have to do it all indoors though because we're supposed to get rain...again. If it's not raining in an hour, we may take the boys to see the parade. I'd like to take them to the museum after lunch, but we'll see. We watched a fireworks display Sunday night, but I may ask dh if we can go into town to watch the one the city will do tonight. I just love the 4th!
