1. What book are you in the middle of reading right now? The Far Side of the Loch (second in the Little House Martha series)
2. What's the last book you read to yourself? Little House in the Highlands (first in the Little House Martha series)
3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)? Fire of Friendship (fourth in the W.I.T.C.H. series)
4. What's your favorite book you have ever read? Toss up between Farenheit 451 and Johnny Tremain
5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read? Will in the Word (about Shakespeare). I just couldn't get into it even though I love Shakespeare.

1. What book are you in the middle of reading right now? Well, not in the middle, just getting ready to start, The third book in Beverly Lewis' Abram's Daughter's series, The Sacrifice.

2. What's the last book you read to yourself? The second book of the above series, The Betrayal

3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)? "Winter Days in The Big Woods" to Momo.

4. What's your favorite book you have ever read?HMM...I think I would have to say the Love Comes Softly series, not one book, but ya have to read them all!

5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read?I can't really think of one right off hand.

1. What book are you in the middle of reading right now? The Well Educated Mind, A Mother's Rule of Life, and a Dave Barry book
2. What's the last book you read to yourself? The last one I finished was 1491.
3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)? picture book- Petunia; we are also reading the Chronicles of Narnia in the evenings.
4. What's your favorite book you have ever read? Oh man... except for the Bible there is no way I could pick my all-time favorite book. There are too many books that I have loved!
5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read? I once got a free book that I can't remember the name of now... read about three pages of it, figured it was nothing but a trashy romance that somehow made it as a bestseller, and gave it away.

2. What's the last book you read to yourself?
Christy (can't remember the author's name)

3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)?
The Magic Schoolbus: All About Bats

4. What's your favorite book you have ever read?
The Ring by Danielle Steele
or
A Woman Named Damaris by Janette Oke

5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read?
Christy (good storyline, but dull writing style)

Chandra, I just have to comment on your post. The Abram's Daughters series & the Love Comes Softly series are my favorite book series! They are sooo good.

1. What book are you in the middle of reading right now? Creative homeschooling ideas for Gifted Children (something like that).

2. What's the last book you read to yourself? Homeschooling: Why it makes sense.

3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)? Big Pig's Hat

4. What's your favorite book you have ever read? 1984

5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read? I never finish books I dislike. I can say that I usually hate reading books that end sadly. I like a good ending.

a book about theistic evolution

The cat in the hat

I love so many books, can't choose one

5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read?
hmmm, most of the ones I read in PS as a kid!

I don't finish them either. I used to force myself to, but then I read an article by a librarian and she said life is too short and there are too many books to read a whole book you don't like at all. She said she reads 50 pages before making a final decision because some books do start slow and then get better after a while. So that's what I do. I give it 50 pages and if I am still totally not into it I take it back to the library. So actually I only read 50 pages of Will in the Word, but that was enough for me to know I didn't want to keep reading it.

I can't remember the darn name of it. It was about birth in America...

3. What's the last book you read to your kid(s)?
We are reading Christian Liberty's Nature Readers...LOVE THEM!

4. What's your favorite book you have ever read?
It was a book about Sacajawea and a book about Cleopatra. LOVED THEM!

5. What's your least favorite book you have ever read?
I don't have a least favorite....
