http://funsocialstudies.learninghaven.com/...curriculum.html lol. Don't ya just love this line- "Homeschooling is certainly not at the parents’ discretion to teach their kid whatever they want. It is a planned teaching curricula implemented in most school districts that follow a set of educational rules laid down by local school boards or administration." Lol as far as I know local school boards have zip, nada, zilch power over homeschoolers-thankgoodness!

I like how they attempt to use educationese and come off sounding like idiots. I believe they may be mixing up homeschooling with using a virtual school. Or maybe they are just clueless.

Oh my gosh! How silly! I couldn't stand it. I just had to write them a "comment" basically telling them they need to research their information a little better before writing such an article. I sent them the HSLDA link. If someone is going to try to give information about homeschooling, they should at least have some idea as to what they are talking about! Oh, and I've never been so sick of reading the word "avail" in my life.

UGH! That article irritated me so much that I had to write to them myself! And I made sure to point how that they overused the word "avail" and that they used it wrong in many cases. *gag*

Pitty they don't have a comments button so that people could actualy read your letters. Lets hope they get educated at least. Post them here so we can read them you two.
