Oh my! My baby is growing up! She has her first wobbly tooth! She complained of it hurting a little a couple of weeks ago then nothing. Then yesterday she says it hurt again, then exclaimed she could move it! Well she has heard about losing teeth and is very excited! She can't wait for it to come out so she can put it under her pillow! Then this morning she says "I am growing up, are you sad mum?' Waahh! yes!!!

AWWW!!! That's sweet she asked you if you were sad!

Eathan, however, is terrified that he is going to lose his teeth. I'm telling you he's such a crazy kid. When my nephew started losing teeth, Eathan started brushing several times through out the day so his teeth wouldn't fall out.

Well hopefully he has another couple of years to get use to the idea! I doubt his chances of sticking them back in!

Have you seen that book? I think it's called Parts. It's a crazy funny book about just that thing. A kid scared he's falling apart because he loses a tooth, a boogie falls out of his nose, a strand of hair falls off, etc.

Talen his first as well. Isn't it bitter sweet? He has shark teeth going on as well. His permanent tooth as already popped in behind the loose one. Good luck with yours.

Yay! Cameron's teeth are still firmly in place. Ani lost her first tooth a few days before she turned 6. I thought that was so young so I looked in my baby book and come to find out I was barely over 5 1/2 when I lost my first tooth. I've read that the later teeth come in originally the later they fall out. Cameron (and Fritz) didn't get teeth until 8 months (Ani was 5 months as was I) so who knows when Cameron will start losing teeth.

Speaking of teeth, Ani lost an eye tooth a couple days ago. She grinds her teeth so it was as flat on top as a front tooth. Well, she ended up losing it when she put it down somewhere at some point in the couple hours between the tooth coming out and going to bed. We still haven't found the tooth. The tooth fairy just left Ani's dime on the dining room table so Ani is convinced the tooth fairy found the tooth because she has tooth radar or something in her wand apparently.

Awww, how sweet. I remember when Jack lost his first tooth. It's so sweet and sad at the same time. I remember thinking "didn't he just get these teeth???"

Tisha,
Jared's terrified of losing his teeth, too. I've told him that new ones grow back and it's all part of being a kid. Even tried playing up the tooth fairy. He could care less about the tooth fairy. He just doesn't want his teeth to fall out. I talked to the dentist about it when I took him for a check up last month. She said it's pretty normal for a kid to be afraid of losing his teeth. She talked to him about it and he seems a little more at ease, but he's still not crazy about the idea.

It's so funny to me b/c I've never seen a kid that tried to keep in his teeth.
