Well we went in bright and early this morning..Declan did fine on the drive up there..only whimpered a few times. We had to wait about 20 minutes but they did end up taking him back at 8:45 for the actual extraction verses having to go back at 11:15. He was very upset once we got in the room.. I think knowing what was to come made things much worse for him. I left the room before they actually put him under, and was in the waiting room about 20 minutes when they called me back.. he was in the recovery area and kinda out of it. He was seeing things and said I had 4 eyes, he looked like he had been out partying all night..lol..but this time there was no hysterics like before.. we sat there about 30 minutes..me holding him and him coming out of the meds, then we left. He slept the entire drive home, and went to bed while I ran and got him his toy we promised him ( yes I bought him a reward for doing such a good job).. he's now up and bouncing off the walls, fighting with his sister etc.. I think he's just fine..LOL.

The tooth is pretty nasty looking.. it's worse than the last honestly..one whole side the root system is black.. ugh..I feel for the kid.. Eric has horrible teeth and has his whole life, I developed them after kids so I think Declan is just doomed. But we got thru it all and things are good.. we have Taejan napping, Ziah is going to go do play doh and Declan plans to watch some movies in his room!

Thanks to everyone for keeping him in their thoughts today!

I am glad it went well!!! That kind of thing can be very scary for a child.

I'm so glad it all seemed to go much smoother this time! I hate that he had to go through it, though. Twice! {{{HUGS}}} to Declan!

I swear things like that has to be harder on Mama than it is on the child. I'm glad it is over with, though. Hopefully that's all the trouble he'll have, at least for a good long time!

I'm praying that we have some sort of recessed "good tooth" gene that Dahlia will get. Aaron and I both have horrible teeth. I'm glad things went well for you and hope he got a really cool new toy!!! Nothing wrong with little reward!

Yeah my teeth are terrible, we have no dental insurance and I just can't afford $250 a tooth to fill the cavity then have it just get another UNDER the filling a year later @@ it's nutso. I am trying to save enough to get new teeth..LOL

I'm glad it went okay for him. Jamie has bad teeth. I have good teeth. Ani seems to be in the middle. Cameron has good teeth but he grinds his teeth so that makes them bad. I hope Fritz inherited my teeth genes!
