Well, Tyrael's three, so I let her get out of it when she wants to. It hasn't happened very often though! She's totally honest and says, "Mommy, I wanna play blocks" or "I want to watch a movie."

"I gotta go potty."
"I'm thirsty."
"I'm tired."
"I want to spend time with Dad." ( ) Usually excusable, because so do I.
Not to mention: pout, whine, cry, & just generally carry on because it's not "fun stuff" all the time.

I normally get "I'm starving" or "I don't feel good" He's even tried "But I have a fever" He's so funny!! Oh what fun it's going to be when he really has to sit down and do something.

I don't really get that except somedays she just wants to keep playing so if she's playing well I make school a bit later.
