I feel like this year is just going down the drain Hailey has no intrest in doing school, at all She makes every subject drag on forever and has been coming up with every excuse she can to get out of it. Logan can't seem to keep busy for 5 seconds and DH is so worn out from working the overnights and doing college that he has hardley been helping with the house. So I'm stressed over having a dirty house, not having Hailey's school going good and Logan has decided to start waking up a few times a night...tell me this will all get better. We are going on a feild trip with the homeschool group tomorrow so I'm hoping the break is what I need!

I'm sorry it's rough right now. Can you do some unschooling for a bit? Or take a step back and figure out just what is the problem. I find that when my kids are resisting the stuff I've picked just isn't right for one reason or another.

I'm sorry your having a hard time right now!! ((HUGS)) I agree with Heather, maybe take a look at the curriculum and see if that's what she's having the problem with. I hope you get it worked out soon and the field trip makes things better.

Ditto Heather. Also just from your other posts I would look and see if there wasn't too many subjects. Or too much seat work within the subjects which she might not be ready for yet. I wouldn't be doing more then 2 hours.

Agreeing with all.. Take a break, sit back and see if your just expecting too much seat work from her.. etc.. and take a nice deep breath!

I'm sorry things are going rough with you! (((HUGS)))
I agree, though, with everyone else. Take a look at the amount of work she's doing and see if there's anything that can be trimmed or cut out altogether. Also, one thing that I've found makes everything more "fun" for Reilly (and Declan too, now) is working the activity so that she can write the answer on the white board. She loves it when I do math facts by writing the problems on the board and then letting her fill in the answers. (I've used it for other subjects, too.) Maybe something like that would help.
If you don't have room for a hanging white board, you could buy one of the little magnetic ones that's, like, 8x10. I think they sell them at WalMart for around $5 or less.
