Hi Everyone,

I hope everyone is having a great Friday! Our family is really interested in Solar power and are going to install a solar oven in our south facing dining room window. We would love to be able to bake bread, cookies, you name it in there. Does anyone have one or have a good resource book to use on how to build one? I would sure appreciate any feedback!
Thanks
Mari

I've never even heard of a solar oven that bakes bread! Sounds neat! Have you tried Googling it?

This looks like a really neat idea. Just doing a google search there were tons of things out there. This was a cool site and it has other solar projects as well.

We built an outdoor solar oven to use last summer. We didn't have much time to play with it, though, because the season where solar would work is so short up here. May I ask where you are located? I'd love for you to share your experiments!! I'm seriously thinking of building myself an "outdoor kitchen" for next year.
