My cervix is now 3-4 cm dilated. My doc said if I were in labor she would actually call it a 4. Still 70% effaced and Finn's head is still at -1 to 0 station. She told me my cervix was very anterior now as well. She said she doesn't think I am going to make it through the week. She is on call on Thursday and said jokingly on her way out "I'll see you Thursday!"

She also said that although she doesn't think I will make it to 38 weeks if I do she would like to induce because of the GBS and my short labors. She would like to give me a dose of the antibiotics, wait 4 hours, give me a 2nd does and then I don't remember is she said she would wait a bit or go ahead an break my water at that point. She said that she is pretty sure that breaking my water would put me into labor with my cervix being the way it is. In fact she said that she doesn't think it would take much of anything to put me into labor.

So we should have a baby in the next 2 weeks if I agree to the induction or less if he comes early.

I don't know what to wish for time wise. But it is in God's hands--whether or not I put it there it is there anyway! I really, really want him to be able to room with me, nurse fine, and be able to go home when I do.

Oh, I didn't have a u/s today. But by feeling my belly she guessed he is in the upper 6's right now. Which I am glad to hear. Ry was only 6 lbs 8.5 ounces at 37 weeks.

You have progressed a lot! I'll be watching to see if you really do have him this week. It sounds like he's a good size for that gestation.

Wow! Sounds like it'll be any time now. I really do hope he gets to room with you and you both get to come home at the same time.
