What the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes?

Well, I used to wear boots. They ran from $80-$150. Other than that, I don't spend more than $50 for my tennis shoes. I used to think I wanted an expensive pair of shoes and when I went and looked at them they were all UGLY! I decided then and there cheapies were good enough for me.

I did have a pair of Doc Martins when I was in high school and I'm sure that cost my mom a pretty penny, but as far as what "I" have spent, I would say no more than about $65.

I once spent something like $80 for a pair of shoes. That was a long time ago; these days I won't spend more than $25 for new shoes, and I try to get them under $20.

I have terrible feet and have to wear pediatry made orthodic inserts and I have a horrible time buying shoes. Normally I spend about $90-$150 and sometimes even thoughts end up as duds. I thought I might try tennis shoes and see if I can fit my orthodic in...I am not holding my breath.

$150 on a pair of Rockports. They are the most amazingly comfy shoes. I've never looked back since. And I still have them to this day.

I'm not really sure. I think I might have spent $65 or $75 on a pair of hiking boots many years ago. Mostly I don't like to go much over $50 and that just about kills me.

Jo, have you tried Merrell brand shoes? That's pretty much all I wear anymore because they're fantastic as far as helping with foot pain. I have trouble with plantar fasciitis and foot pain and it's amazing how Merrells can make my feet feel better! Here's a link to their website, and we usually buy them from OnlineShoes.com

That being said, most Merrell's cost between $75 and $100, so I have a rather expensive collection of shoes... But they make SUCH a difference that I don't buy anything else. (Except that my church shoes aren't Merrell)
