I hope everyone had a great time ringing in the New Year.
What are you plans for the New Year?
Do you have anything big planned for 2012?
What do you have going on this week?
We don't really have anything planned so far this year. I can't believe that our June Bugs will be turning 5 in 2012.
Jeremy is off today and tomorrow. Ben starts back to school tomorrow. Other than speech therapy the only thing I really have planned is dinner with friends on Saturday night. Ben has a birthday party to go to Wednesday night at a place called Pump It Up. He is so excited! It's for the little girl he has a crush on.

Well our biggest upcoming plan is our next trip to Disney World! We are going Spring Break week, March 25-30th, can't wait!!!! I'd also like to get us a beach trip booked for the summer but we will have to wait and see how our taxes turn out this year..
I've started thinking about Dylan's birthday... 5... OMG. I just can't wrap my head around him being that old!! Makes me sad... But he is excited for a party, he is already planning it out! He wants to have a party at the gymnastics place and he wants his theme to be Angry Birds! LOL. Thank goodness they recently came out with some Angry Birds party stuff!!
This week no big plans. Working... and kids start back to school Wednesday.

What are you plans for the New Year? Nothing really. Just hoping 2012 is a better year than 2011.
Seems in December, EVERYTHING broke. Jay broke the tv in our bedroom. So we ordered a new one and ordered another for the girls. Then my headlight went out but it took 5 different stores to find one. Then Jay's headlight went out. Then his wiper broke, so we got both of our vehicles new wipers.
Then we saw our lamp shade that was in the basement during Christmas, was broken. So we had to get new shades.
Then Abby broke our DVD player by slamming the tv stand door shut while the dvd player drawer was open. Then we saw the toilet in our main bathroom is broken.. the porcelain in the actual bowl part, broken.. how the crap does that happen? So now we have to replace that. Both of our desktops are broken. We've both just switched completely to our laptops. The light in the oven went out, the light in the fridge. It's just like EVERYTHING broke at once!
We had to rearrange our bedroom because we are going to mount the new tv in there instead of putting it back on the dresser because it was just too high to lay and watch tv. We did that today, hoping the tv mount will be here tomorrow and we can get it mounted.
Do you have anything big planned for 2012?
We should be taking a vacation to the OBX again this year, my Mom is planning on coming with us. So excited!!
Other than that, no idea! Hopefully good things!
What do you have going on this week? Jay is on vacation. He took last week and this week off. It's been so nice having him home and I hope this week goes slow! Saturday we're taking the girls to see Disney Princess on Ice, Dare to dream. Emily is beside herself with excitement!

Plans, well...uh, I think I'll post in the private forum, so look there when I'm done with this thread.
I'm having a baby, so that's big and public. Though I don't think I ever even announced it in this PR, and since atm it isn't in my siggy, if you didn't know from fb you might not even know,
Back to work tomorrow, an emotional day for many reasons, see private forum post coming.

Well we do have quite a few plans for the new year... first of all I should graduate from college in July, then we're planning on moving out of Italy during summer and start a new life in a hot, quite place in the Canary Islands (we've been there in October to make our final decision and we agreed to give it a try). Pretty big plan, cross your fingers for us!
As for the rest of the week, I should get rid of influenza, go back to work (daycare), go back to University for the last couple lessons of the semester, then start studying for my FOUR exams starting Feb. 1st.... Just thinking about it all makes me wanna sleep until July!

Melissa, I was just thinking about birthday party stuff yesterday. Ben said he wants a Curious George birthday party. I hope he sticks with it because I think it will be a cute theme.
Paula, it seems like when it rains, it pours. It's never one thing that breaks, it's always a bunch of crap at once! I hope you guys have fun on Saturday!
Having a baby is a good plan for this year Christen!
Gio, I wish you lots of luck with everything!

Wow Gio, living in the Canary Islands sounds amazing! I hope you like it there! Congrats on impending graduation and good luck with finals! I don't blame you for feeling overwhelmed but this is the home stretch and you'll do fine!
Gynmastics would be a great place to have a party! Made me want to book one at our place! I'm sure now if the time to start thinking about all that before they get booked up. I have to get over the shock of them turning 5 first though, amazing! And they'll be starting kindergarten this year, too. Ahh!
This week is finally getting back into the swing of things, which of course isn't much. B is on the mend now thankfully. I think he'll be good to go on Thursday for school, which is good because my gpa has an appt. that morning. We're going to schedule another shot. It didn't work much last time but it's got to be better than right now. He's whining constantly about it.

Oh and our van windshield was cracked.. had them come to replace it and then I noticed the replacement is scratched in spots, so they are coming again tomorrow to replace that one! UGH!
Melissa, I seriously want to cry at the thought of them being 5. I am NOT ready!!
I'm thinking I might do a Chuck E Cheese party for Emily or I might do the spray park. It's always iffy with the weather here. It might be FREEZING, or it could be 80.
If I asked her to pick a theme right now, she'd pick Panda. That might be tough!

I can't believe you guys are thinking about birthday parties...though I have to admit it is Rock's birthday I'm worried about, and LJ's is next. Rock and this baby could end up with the same birthday, it would be possible, so I am worried about celebrating it...
