Whatcha got going on this week?

This is the week from hell for me.

Today isn't too bad. I had to run around to do some shopping and Jill has dance at 5. Then I have to get everything together for Ben's book fair this week.

Tuesday, I have to call and check on bus arrangements for the field trip for the kindergarten kids. I have to drop off PTO money at the bank. Then I have to go to his school and set up and decorate for his book fair. We have the teacher preview for the book fair tomorrow afternoon. Then the bookfair is open tomorrow evening so I have to be there to work that.

Wednesday I have Ben's parent/teacher conference at 1:15 and I have to be at the school from 1-3:30 for the book fair and then I have to get right home for Jill's speech therapy. While her therapist is here I have someone stopping by to look at my bows to buy some.

Thursday Jill has speech from noon-1 and then I have to get right up to the school for the book fair until 3:30. I'll probably also have to work my job that night.

Then on Friday I have to get everything packed up and cleaned up from the book fair so the Scholastic people can pick their stuff back up.

Is this week over yet?

Nothing much for me. Grocery shopping Thursday, Kayla and I have eye appt's Saturday morning. We also have dinner at Jay's Dads on Saturday for his birthday, and this weekend we need to buy a water heater. Ours is leaking. UGH! We knew it was just a matter of time and I'm super grateful it didn't bust a seam and it's just a slow drip. It's from the 80's, so it's super old, so we can't complain.
Oh yeah, I still have to get GS cookies and take them to my Moms. Some were missing from the original order.
Tomorrow, I'm cleaning downstairs, typical dusting, vacuuming, etc..
I need to call and schedule Em's 5 year check up too. I don't want them pushing it back to August or anything this year.

For me this week I really have to get some paperwork stuff done. Two nights of tutoring. Otherwise just normal stuff like taking Courtney to basketball and such.

Surgery on her eyes? I'm sorry so much is going on with her. That is impossible. Glad you're on the mend from being sick!

Susan, try to take it easy. How often do you have book fairs!? It seems like you were just doing it. Key word there: you! Isn't there any other people who can help?

Not a lot going on. We're painting today. They're redoing the whole paneling so a pretty big project and of course, the mess and clutter that goes with that, haha. B is in school today. He never really caught the bug that I did. I got a sinus and an ear infection and doing anything strenuous starts the coughing up again, but I am getting better. B also gets to finally start that martial arts this Friday after rescheduling twice.

Vannessa, Any more news about Raliegh and her sleeping? I hope her eyes are doing ok and she doesn't need surgery. How's the baby doing?
I see your siggy says wife! When did you get married?!?

Corey, are you doing the wallpaper over the paneling and painting it? That's what we're doing in the dining room, so I'm curious how it goes for you.

No, just painting over the paneling. In one spot, they completely tore off the paneling, but we didn't like that as much. Over the paneling, you can still see the contour lines and it looks pretty good.

Vanessa, I hope Raleigh doesn't have to have eye surgery.

Cory, we do 2 a year and we do them during the parent teacher conferences which are in November and February so really it hasn't been that long since we did one. This time we got a few more parents to volunteer to help which is nice. But since I'm PTO President I have to be there to take care of stuff. It's sad that though that with 400 students there are only a handful of parents who are either willing or able to help.

I painted over the paneling in my room and office and I like it.
In the dining room we're doing paintable wallpaper made just for putting over paneling. It's suppose to give it that drywall look instead of the grooves.

For some reason it was on a "only me" privacy setting, I fixed it!
