I honestly do not know if this show is going to be pro or anti the HPV vaccine, but cdc just informed me that a special is airing tonight regarding HPV vaccine safety. It's on the CBS news at 6:30pm (Eastern time?).
The Katie Couric interview was pro-HPV vaccine and then there are two others on the lower right that are anti-HPV. I hope that it's ok to post some anti-vaccine information in this forum. I feel it is extremely important for us to fully educate ourselves---good or bad on vaccines.
These interviews didn't set well with me. I guess I don't understand why doctors don't just directly say that Gardasil was the cause of death. The first one "suspects" that is it. The one doctor--with the bad hair lol-- did say that he feels Gardasil is the cause. If Gardasil really does cause deaths in people, then why is it still allowed out there? It doesn't make sense to me. Wouldn't CDC and FDA take it off the market??
I am still a bit skeptical on Gardasil. I'm continuing to do my research.
Gardisil is one i would not do. I don't have any girls, but if i did, i would not do it. As long as you get your pap smears every year then HPV caught early causes no issues. So to me on this particular vaccine the benefits do not outwiegh the risks. Also, i am always weary of a vaccine that has not be on the market long. Hence why my youngest did not get the rotovirus vaccine either
