Hi ladies. I occasionally lurk here and wanted to share these news articles. I live in the DC Metro area (VA for me) & there has been an outbreak of the measles around here. There have been a few cases since mid-March. The high-profile one right now was confirmed at Shady Grove ER last week. I heard on the radio today that they're asking anyone who was at this ER on Friday to call the Dr and set up a private screening. Its scary because the initial symptoms look like the flu until the rash breaks out.

Sigh. I wonder how bad it will have to get before it gets better again. I'm sure the parents of that infant are simply THRILLED.
