Question for you ladies, if you don't mind...

My pediatrician's office only carries Tripedia for the DTaP vaccine. They also have Pentacel, which is the combination DTaP, HIB, and polio vaccine. I've read that Tripedia is the lowest of the 3 DTaP vaccines in aluminum, but that Daptacel is better? Is this true? If Daptacel is better, then is it better for us to go with Pentacel and just do the combo vaccine?

Thanks for your time.

I'm looking for some information for you and I can't find anything that says either one is better than the other. I did find a site that has a lot of information on both:
Daptacel (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine Adsorbed) Drug Information: Uses, Side Effects, Drug Interactions and Warnings at RxList
Tripedia (Diphtheria and Tetanus Toxoids and Acellular Pertussis Vaccine) Drug Information: Uses, Side Effects, Drug Interactions and Warnings at RxList
So may be there is some information there that can help you with your decision. I know both of my boys have gotten Daptacel and neither one had a reaction to it. Good luck with your decision.
