I was wondering has anyone here delayed the pneumococcus vaccine?
My girl supposed to get it at 2 months but her pedi injected only the one against difteria, tetanus, hib and whooping cough.
We won't be in the country for awhile and i was thinking about delaying this vaccine.
All comments/advices will be greatly appreciated
Thanks for reading
Since you mentioned being out of the country for a while, you might want to see if pneumococcal disease is prevalent there or not. If you decide to get the vaccine and don't want to go to a doctor appointment for it, you might be able to get the vaccine free at your local health department. Be prepared for a looooooooooong wait though!
Thanks for the replay.
Kalina suppose to get this vaccine on Friday but the problem is we won't be there for the revacination. We won't be back until Feb :S
I'm actually going back home,in Europe.I haven't been vaccinated with this shot as well. It's not avaiable anywhere expect America as far as i know.
