what are your views.. ds had his done at 12 mos.. and now dd will at 15.. just wondering since I hear so much about this vaccination

You know my views.......

there have been break-outs of mumps in the last year so I think that the risk involved with dd getting one of the diseases out weighs the risks of vaccinating.

I agree. My son just had his mmr shot last week. He's 13 months old, he handled it pretty well. He broke out in a light rash on his legs. I'm not sure which shot caused it, but it's better now.

Hey Bea....You too know my views....

I did get Alyssa vaccined but I also had them space out the shots....You hear so much crap that it really does scare a mother. Tomorrow we go for the last of the shot!

My girls have both been done. I had to get the shot at 19 when I got married. Otherwise I would have had to have it when I joined the Army. Both of the girls did quite well with it. I think I am going to space things out for the new baby though.

well we had it yesterday, and she so far is doing great.. not sure how long a reaction takes to develop though.. and btw I am a strong believer in vaccines

My sons never had issues with any that they got.

According to my ped if there is a reaction it will be from the measles and it will come out in a week...no sooner!

Alyssa just got the last of the 3 last week!
