I dont post here at all, but since Seamus got his 2 mo shots the other day, figured I might as well.
He was a little late on the shots (he's 2 mos and 3 weeks old... so he's closer to 3 mos old), but no big deal. Delaying wasnt intentional.
Anywho, I didnt think it would bother me at all watching him get stuck... so I was surprised when it did. The doctor jammed the needles in his leg and it made me jolt each time... lol (which is so unlike me... but then again, I'm not the biggest fan of needles, lol). Also it didnt help much that he screamed bloody murder after each shot, lol. He was fine though. He was already cranky before we got there (he was hungry and tired).
But anyways... he's had his first shots. Next ones should be at about 4 mos I think.
I can't believe Seamus is that old. It just seems like last week you were posting you had him on the cloth diapering board.
It really bothered my the first time also when Annika got her shots. It gets easier I swear. It still hurts but I just remember it will be over in a second.[/b]
Totally ditto! The absolute worst shots Ben ever got was rocephin (antibiotic) at 13 mos for pneumonia. It was extreeeeeeeemely thick, so it took 2 nurses to hold him down and a 3rd to give him the shots... two days in a row! He was sore for about a week, but they knocked the infection right out!
