I do not vax, but my DH is a Marine and they gave him the nasal flu vaccine today unexpectedly. He does not come home until tomorrow night. I found some sites on the net that says that it is a live virus. How do I protect me and the kids from getting the flu from him shedding?

Vitamins and hand washing?

I'd do some dosing of Vit D, C for everyone, especially hubby! My DH was in the Navy and every time he got that stupid nasal vaccine we ALL got the flu, him included. I HATED it!
I hope you guys don't get it!

ugh...hugs....vit d...elderberry juice concentrate (If I were you on this I'd take like a couple tbsp for the adults and depending on the age of the kids a couple tsp....usually it's only one tsp for kids and one tbsp for adults but I'd double or tripple up to boost your immune system)....and VERY good handwashing/hygiene skills

HUGS

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Glad it was short lived! It's funny how they say you won't get the flu from the vaccine, just a temporary flu like illness that is a side effect of the vaccine. I wonder how they explain that the whole family got the "side effect" of one persons vaccine?!?
