Hi! Hope everyone is doing well! I was wondering if any of your kids had rashes like the ones pictured below? Every time Abby had had one she breaks out in this awful rash. Two weeks ago the Dr. said that he wouldn't be concerned unless we had a problem this last time (we now only do one vax at time every two weeks). Of course she got another rash. Every time the rash is a little worse. It makes her leg warm, really red, with little red bumps all over it. The redness goes away in about a week. Then she has really dry, bumpy, almost scaly skin of a few more weeks.

What do you think? What would the dr. be concerned about? All opinions welcome.

Thanks in advance!

These are pics of her reaction to Tdap.

Wow...I'm not sure...obviously something in the vaccinations is doing it to her. That looks painful and itchy. (btw was it Tdap or DTaP? I was thinking that TDaP is for older children/adults??? I'm not positive though)....

If each time it gets worse and it doesn't seem to matter what vaccine it is...to me it sounds like it's the OTHER ingredients (not the virus) in the vaccine making her react that way. Personally...I'd stop vaccinations until she's a bit older (like 4 or so) before I tried again so that she has a bigger and deeper immune system....but that is a choice only you can make....I'm just telling you my thoughts on it I think the thing that makes me think this most of all is that it gets worse each time....allergies tend to get worse with more exposure...and pretty soon they can end up really scary bad. Much like a child who becomes allergic to peanuts might not be allergic the first time they try them....or the third....but all of a sudden they have a severe reaction that requires medical help to calm....if that makes sense?

HUGS....I'm so sorry your little peanut is having deal with that....and you too!!!!

PS...WELCOME to choosing not to vaccinate! There are many styles of vaccination choices among us...some of us dont vaccinate at all any more...some didn't vaccinate from the start...some selective vaccinate and some delay until older and then selective ...etc....so I'm sure with whatever you decide....you'll find some other mommas like you...and if not...you'll get tons of support for whatever you choose....our main goal on this forum is supporting the parents who choose to do things outside of the norm when it comes to vaccinating....there isn't much support in real life for that....so this place is GREAT

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

Does she have a sensitivity to milk protein? I ask because Daptacel brand of DTaP has traces of milk protein, which can cause skin or gastrointestinal reactions in babies who are casein intolerant. When my oldest was a baby, he was intolerant to milk proteins and used to break out in eczema all over his head and face after DTaP.

I talked to one of my friends who has done a lot of research and I've decided to delay. I don't know how long for. I just doesn't seem right.

No she doesn't have a sensitivity to milk protein.

Welcome to the board! My kids never got a rash, but my middle daughter got hard red hot bumps at the injection site. They always took 2 weeks to go away. Back then I never thought anything of it, but I know now it was a reaction. That rash would scare me a little. Does seem like an allergy. I'm glad you came to a decision on it though. I wonder is that with every vaccine or just one in particular?

Glad you came to a decision and are confident in it. You have plenty of time to do your own research now and find out if and when you choose to vaccinate and which ones....HUGS

It has been with all shots. Each time they are a little worse. So we are done for now. Hopefully my dr won't have a problem with it. I really like him and would hate to have to find a new dr.
