Me and my husband had some DNA testing done for the fun of it (it was part of a research group thing and was pretty cheap...and confidential!) Anyway I found this interesting and I thought I would share it.
My history--- I needed 8 doses of Hep B in order to get enough antibodies to pass a titer when I became a nurse...never been rechecked though to see if I still have it... I think I will get checked now just to see! LOL
Anyway one of the markers they did on my DNA was my chances of getting Chronic Hep B if I contracted it or if I would recover...and it turns out I'm in a group that the chances of me getting Chronic Hep B is VERY SLIM and I would most likely just recover! I thought it was interesting because I wonder that since my genes seem to be anti- Hep B if that was way it took so many vaccines for me to pass the titer? Anyone have more info on that, or has anyone even done studies?
Also my mom, myself and a couple other family members all have had mild-major reactions to vaccines..... I hope they are looking more into genetics and reactions. Does reactions seem to run in families that your aware of?

How interesting that you're genetically more likely to shrug off a Hep B infection, and it took so many vaccines to get a high titer! Too bad you got all of the risk from those 8 vaccines and probably no benefit. TFS, that is very interesting!

Very interesting....I've never done much research on this area...but would love to see what my DNA and dh's (and the kids for that matter) would tell us....

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.
