I wish i declined it, i had declined everything else, but DD came early and i had not researched it enough. I know it can cause Jaundice and she was quite jaundice, not sure if it is a connection or not. There is an oral Vit K i believe.

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

I'll have to do some more research about this. I guess I don't even know if the last 4 babies got a vitamin k shot? I know our hospital didn't do the Hep B. I'll take any information you have gotten on the shot, plus where to you get the vitamin k drops?

I dont know honestly....both of mine that got the drops were out of hospital....you could see if you could buy the drops and just decline the injection if they dont....They put two drops in on the drops they have....two at birth..two at one week, two at two weeks, and he'll get two at four weeks...

Midwifery and Home Birth Supplies: Vitamin K-1Now Called K-QUINONE
Found that at a midwife supply place....I'm sure you can find many other options as well...that was just me searching for "midwifery supplies" and then on the site I typed in vitamin K....you can look around. I can ask (I'll try to remember) at my 4 week appt how many mg are in each drop that they give....that kind has 2mg per drop. One drop is one serving....but the ones my midwife uses might be 1mg per drop or something. So I'll ask
