Homeopathic Vaccination is an option for those not wishing to take conventional vaccines, those worried about vaccination side effects or people who cannot take a pharmaceutical vaccine due to compromised immune systems or other medical conditions.
Homeopathic Vaccination: A History of Success
For over 200 years, Homeopaths around the world have used Homeopathic Vaccination to provide short and long-term protection against a range of epidemic diseases. This includes protection against Measles, Mumps, Rubella (German measles), Meningococcal disease, Poliomyelitis, Chicken-pox, Hepatitis (all types), Japanese Encephalitis, Hib, Influenza, Pneumococcal disease, Cholera, Smallpox, Scarlet Fever, Typhoid, Typhus, Whooping cough, Diphtheria, Malaria, and Yellow Fever.
How are Homeopathic Vaccinations administered and are they safe?
Homeopathic Vaccines are given orally, usually in liquid form. Homeopathic medicines are safe for children, the elderly and pregnant women. There are no side effects and there are no interactions with other medications.
What Homeopathic Vaccinations are available?
The following vaccination remedies are most commonly prescribed: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Influenza, Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Meningococcal disease, Hib (Haemophilus influenzae B), Chicken-Pox, Hepatitis (A, B, C), Poliomyelitis, Diptheria, Smallpox
Some Clinical History:
· In 1998 two Professors of Medicine from the University Foundation in Blumenau, Brazil, conducted a study on Meningococcal disease and homeopathic vaccination .
A total of 65,826 people between the ages of 0-20 were given a Homeopathic Vaccination for protection against Meningococcal disease while 23,532 were not. Over a 12-month period, the following results were obtained:
65,826 protected homeopathically - 4 cases of Meningococcal infection. 23,532 not protected - 20 cases of Meningococcal infection.
Based on the infection (attack) rate in the unprotected group, 58 cases of infection would have been expected in the homeopathically protected group. Instead, there were only four cases of Meningococcal infection. Statistical analysis showed that Homeopathic vaccination offered 95% protection in the first six months and 91% protection over the year against Meningococcal disease.
· During a Poliomyelitis epidemic in Buenos Aires, practitioners (Homeopaths and Doctors) distributed the Homeopathic vaccination remedy Lathyrus sativus to over 40,000 people. Not one of them developed Polio during the epidemic despite exposure.
· Nurses and patients protected by Homeopathic Vaccination at the London Homeopathic Hospital remained disease free during a 3 year period in which they were regularly exposed to Diphtheria.
· Records from a Smallpox epidemic show that of 2806 individuals protected by Homeopathic Vaccination, 547 of them went on to have a known exposure to the disease. Of those, 97.5% remained disease free.Source

Any info about what is in them that makes them better? Homepathic sounds great, but we all know it's a word some people abuse to sell things.

Every time I ask, they tell me ingredients that are herbs. Trust me, before I get them done, I'll be getting more read outs. The whole principle of homeopathy is treatment without harm. So far I haven't ran across any ingredients remotely close to what is in a vaccine. Another thing I have found refreshing is they will tell you what percentage they feel the treatment is effective to ~ 70%, 95% or whichever (depending on the disease you're talking about.) Current vaccines are boosted as 100% effective despite the fact so many people still get the disease they were given shots for.
The biggest reason why I started this thread is because I don't think many people are aware there is an alternative. Have you ever chatted with a local homeopath? I think you'd find it refreshing.

I never thought to look there. So I just checked and considering how big my city is there are only five listings and that doesn't include the place I went too! LOL!
In the local birthing magazine, the office took out a page ad about vaccinations. I thought I'd try that place first. My dh is going to go now for sinus and allergy issues he's struggling with.

If someone got the homeopathic version of the vaccine....would they pass a titer test? I would love to find out more on this! www.mamasource.com is a great way to find out where stuff is in your area. Plus (as of a couple weeks ago) they plant a tree for each new member who signs up!
So we went to the homeopath today. He was really good about talking as usual. Most clients prefer to treat if they caught a vaccine "preventable" disease. However, he was very understand that I would like to try "immunizing" DD for whooping cough. (It's called Homeoprophylaxis.) So he gave me some pertussis homeopathic pills (200) to give orally to Samantha. It will be 3 doses, 12 hrs apart. So I'll give it to her after this teething issue we are having tonight and see. I have a sheet of which dieases we would schedule and when.. it's amazing! (It's called Homeoprophylaxis protocal.)

She is in the process of organizing a website with information and a place to gather more non-vaxer's so people can start to see the number of people who think the same way we do. I was telling her about this forum and the subforum of bad vaccine stories, including the "Sids" deaths.. She apparently has more information about the shaken-baby syndrome/SIDS and how it relates to vaccines from Japan's stats. When she gets it up, I'll pass it on. She also plans to try to have more organized protests to help spread the message so we'll see.
Another thing I was given is a way too cool study showing how kids who weren't vaccinated are healthier overall than vaccinated kids. Here's the study. The place I'm going to wants to start doing studies with non-vax'ed kids so I volunteered to participate when they get their paperwork in order.
I was actually vax'd as a child homeopathically. So, I've know about them, but I have never been able to find out where to get them. Well, at least I've never been able to find any I could afford at the time.
