i am colleen and as you can see from the subject line... no spring chicken LOL!

i am currently waiting for AF to show up after a loss of 8+4. i know the loss is due to my AMA (dont you just hate that acronym? - i guess it is better then geriatric mother LOL).

well there are major signs that AF is on the way and while i am excited, i am nervous knowing the odds of m/c increase the older you get. ai admit to being very scared about another loss....anyone have a loss and then go on to have a healthy babe? share your good stories with me - ease my nerves!!

tia ladies - GL to all

I had three losses (all 7 weeks or earlier). I went on to have a very easy pregnancy (at 39) and my beautiful, healthy baby girl is almost 6 months old now.

Hi Colleen!!!
I'm 37 and have had 3 losses in the past year due to AMA/poor egg quality. I'm now 16 weeks pregnant and everything is looking great so far. I was ready to give up, but I guess there are still some good eggies in there somewhere. Good luck ttc again!!!

I'm 41 (and pregnant) now. I had a miscarriage at 32 (7 weeks), baby at 32, baby at 34, miscarriage at 35 (13 weeks), and a baby at 35. This one was totally unexpected and everything has been fine.

Hang in there!

Thanks for posting this. It's wonderful to see someone my age going on to have healthy pregnancies after a loss. So sorry for your loss. We had one at 7 weeks and I'm 41.
Congrats on your current pregnancy
