Hi ladies!

I'm Amy (34....I'll be 35 on the 17th) and my DH is Paul (35). We're currently expecting our first child on September 15th. This is also my first pregnancy and being an older mommy-to-be, I'm definitely nervous.

I go in for my NT scan on Monday 3/8 -- super duper nervous. They already took my blood, so this appointment will tell me all of the info. I asked to see the odds of a problem at my age, and I was in tears. It's just so scary having a baby at this age. In any other world, 35 is considered young. I just can't believe I'm considered to be "old"!

Anyway, you can usually find me over on the Sept 2010 DDC board. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!!!

Hi Amy and everybody else. This is my first post on this board too!

I had my first at age 34, and am now expecting my 3rd baby at age 38. The baby will be due Nov 2010. I went through most of the 'advanced maternal age' work up with my 2nd baby, but I seem to have forgotten everything that was involved, so I'm looking forward to meeting everyone on here and trying to remember what to expect. My last pregnancy was complicated by GD, but was easily diet controlled, so I'm hoping not to have to get on meds this time as well.
