Ok I have never had heartburn before in my life. I know it is mild but it is still so annoying and tums just turns the pain into a nasty sour stomach and I almost think i would prfer... PAIN!

So what gives you heartburn and what is safe for you to eat!

Ugh, heart burn is the pits! I've been getting it a bit too right now, and I got it BAD in my last pregnancy at the end.

Some small things you can do are eat smaller meals more frequently. Don't hunch over when you sit (like on the computer perhaps). Don't eat a large meal and then lay down. Stay away from anything really acidic.

I'm getting to the point that almost anything gives me heart burn now. What is helping me most is smaller meals. I have even been using a salad plate so my dinner doesn't look so small compaired to everyone elses. I also find myself mainly having 2 meals a day...breakfast and our dinners have gotten a little earlier. I have a few snacks throughout the day.....fruit, handful of almonds, and those yoplait smoothies seem to be my go to's.

Of courst Tums have really helped....ALOT!

I'm carring high so my portions are really small. Other wise on top of the heartburn....I can barely breath. I have learned the hard way.
