You know my deep desire for a child. A little one to love and to hold, to care for,
to cherish. Grant that my body may conceive and give birth to a beautiful, healthy baby in Your holy image.
Guide me in all my choices so that this conception, my pregnancy and my baby's birth are in line with Your will. Heavenly Father and Holy Mother, hear this prayer of my heart, mind and spirit.
Amen.

Hi, I just turned 38 Saturday, my baby is due in November. It's been a journey being this age and having a baby, especially having doctors yell at my age and scare the crap out of me with all the abnormal possibilities after 35. Now they are much nicer after the tests came back normal. Yes it's been a journey. Have others any of you experienced this treatment?

I'm 40, and will be 41 when the baby is born. My DH is 48.

Shugineer - really? Your doctors yelled at you about your age?? That is so cruel! I'm glad your tests all came back normal. I'm looking forward to getting my testing done, and hoping for good results, too.

Also had a private doctor berate me last year for not being married & pregnant yet at my age when I went for a breast check-up with my sis. Saying that it'll be difficult for me to get pregnant yadda yadda yadda...
Sheesh... I shrugged her comments off my shoulders coz more women nowadays get pregnant in her 40's due to change in social environment & advances in medical technology
The doctor at the govt clinic was less opinionated when I went in for my pre-natal but pencilled me in for a more comprehensive check-up (I think) for the 22nd week due to my age & small stature. I think it's more of my stature (husband is 10+m taller) coz it was written there in my appointment card in red ink
