We decided today to do the amnio since it gives the most accurate results. I get the test at 16 weeks.

We'll probably do an amnio again this time. My daughter wouldn't cooperate on two different tries to do the NT scan, so after doing some research, we opted for the amnio with her. We'll probably do the NT scan with this child, as well, just because it's an opportunity for a high quality ultrasound early. :-)

Most likely we will do a CVS. I have had one confirmed loss due to Trisomy 18, so I know my peri is going to push it. I see him on the 10th.

I am doing the NT scan and bloodwork at 12 weeks. I will decide from there if I do an amnio. My doctor said I could have an early amnio, but I figured I would try the scan first.

we'll do NT scan & 2 part quad screen (12 + 16 weeks)...depending on how the NT scan goes we could still opt (very quickly) for CVS or wait for Amnio. We managed to avoid both with Savannah, and hoping we can with this one as well, but we shall see...

No tests other than the regular glucose, u/s, etc. No trisomy or amnio.

Sam, glad to see your pg! Healthy happy 9 mos to you. I did the CVS test and though I would never go through that again I was very happy not to worry my whole pg. I had a very high front placenta and they had to go through the top of it and it cramped up etc... It was very painful and though I know mine was an exception i would never do it again. Good thing I won't have to, I'm done after this one, lol.

I am 39 and had the NT scan, along with the finger-pricks to test for I don't remember what-all. Our tests came back with chances lowered, so we continued as normal with our pregnancy. Just the routine rh, glucose, general health ones.

Good luck!

EEK! I'm not sure where my placenta is- the RE did say this morning that baby was placed perfectly-not sure what that means though. I see the peri on Monday to discuss everything.
