I'm driving myself crazy worrying about this pregnancy sticking. We were so lucky to get pregnant the very first month, but I just turned 41, which automatically puts me in the "High Risk" zone. My HcG number and progesterone numbers came in a little low (not below the scale) and it makes me worried that we won't progress.

I am 9 weeks and 6 days and we did see the baby & its heart beating 2 weeks ago, which is supposed to be a great indicator. I'm so ready to see the baby again on an U/S or at least hear the heartbeat so I will know everything is OK.

Is anyone else worrying this much???

I had our last baby at 42 (this past February), I had had a loss prior to that and it made this pregnancy a million times more stressful. I feel your pain.

Hugs.

At 40 this pg was the only one I worried about. I had the cvs test at 12 weeks just to make sure all was well. If you want to feel better maybe do that. It will tell you everything so you won't worry through "screenings". I hope it gets better for you though I still worry about everything but not as bad, lol.

I'm 39 and pregnant with my first. I worried from the day I found out all the way through my 2nd trimester! I am just about to hit month 7, and am taking a deep breath and realizing that all will be well (of course, we are not far past the age of viability outside the womb). Just take it one day at a time. I worried much, much less when I could finally feel the baby moving and could be reassured each time I felt a little flutter. You're about halfway to that point!

Hang in there. It doesn't seem like it now, but the time really flies.

Thanks everyone. I have been feeling better (m/s has eased up) and I seem to be less anxious. We go for our next OB appt. on the 5th, and the NT scan on the 7th, which will let us see the baby again.

I'm so ready to be in my second trimester

I am 42 and had 4 miscarriages before our daughter was born 2 weeks ago. The first trimester was very stressful for us. ((hugs)) Try to enjoy as much as you can of it!!
