My name is Megan and I am 36 years old and trying to conceive baby #3. Well going to start trying in the spring. I have a lot of mixed emotions about my age and the concerns that come with it along with a myriad of other health issues. I really don't know a lot about the facts of pregnancy over 35 so I'm very interested in what all you have to say.

Hi, Megan! I'm Jenny, 39, pregnant with my first (8 weeks to go!). It seems like everybody has a different pregnancy story, but I have to say that my pregnancy has been a breeze. My body is handling it really well, and I haven't had any major concerns or issues for this whole 7 months. I really don't feel that my age has been as big a factor as the whole medical system makes it seem - they treat you like you have a dangerous condition sometimes - but I was healthy before and I'm still just as healthy, and pregnancy is a natural occurrence that happened without any outside help, so it's still something my body is prepared to do. That was my outlook the whole time, and it's worked really well.
I hope that the health issues you mentioned are minor, and wish you the very best of luck as you ttc! It's such an exciting adventure and I hope everything works out perfectly for you!
