My name is Laura. Hubby is Steve. I am 36 and due July 28, 2012. I will be 37 in September. I had identical twins at 28 weeks due to severe HELLP Syndrome in October 2007. Madison was born with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and the girls had Twin To Twin Transfusion Syndrome. They both were IUGR. McKenzie spent 2 months 2 days in the NICU. Madison spent 5 months 2 days in the NICU before she passed away. She underwent 3 surgeries and defied all odds. She was not suppose to live through being born. I will have a c-section with this baby or babies because of risk of uterine rupture. I have a vertical incision on my uterus. So i am very high risk. Hoping to have a healthy pregnancy and a more normal delivery. This is a very surprised pregnancy. i am excited scared worried. I am taking it day by day.
You are due 1 month after I am. I hope everything goes great during this pregnancy. It is tougher as we get older, but I think that makes it even sweeter. I know that after every week I feel a little more confident.
Just heard the heartbeat today, which helped me relax and we do the NT Ultrasound Wednesday and I can't wait to see my little baby again.
Hi, Laura! Your girls are beautiful! Congratulations on your new pregnancy! Lots of thoughts and prayers that this pregnancy goes really well and that everyone stays healthy throughout. I can only imagine how hard it must be to feel excited when things were difficult last time. The only thing you can do is take it day by day, like you said. Please keep us posted on how you're doing.
congrats on your growing bundle and I truly hope this time around is much better for you. Lot's of t's and p's for you. I'm almost done and thankfully as i can't wait to hold mine in my arms. Take it easy and don't stress out.
