I just had our 12th child on Monday. I turned 37 in May. I experienced a very healthy pregnancy and Josie was born at home after a very beautiful and smooth labor. I am recovering nicely.
Last night at 3 am - she pooped out her diaper (we co-sleep) so we were up changing bedding, clothes and diapers, which woke her toddler sister (who also sleeps with us) I nursed them both and they were wide awake, oldest was talking and poking at her and playing with my hair. The last time I looked at the clock it was 5:16 am. I was exhausted. It crossed my mind that I was getting 'too old' for this up all night business. Then I thought of a dear friend of mine that just had her 7th child last week - at 47 years old. I'm still a spring chickie! LOL!
