Hi, I'm Wendy, and very surprised to be 37 and pregnant with my 3rd child. I will be 38 when this baby gets here and I am completely overwhelmed already! My boys are 8 and 6, I was a SAHM with them for 6 years, until I started working two years ago. Now I'm worried sick that I'll have to put this baby in day care, which I'm completely uncomfortable with, and I'm only 6 weeks pregnant. I'm not nearly as worried about the pregnancy as I am what happens after, but I am diabetic, and having trouble controlling my blood sugar now, and severely hypothyroid. This is going to be a rollercoaster, and I may very well lose my mind.

Our kids are the same age! But I have a year on you! I am 38, will be 39 when baby comes. My kids were in day care from a young age, I went back to work when each was one and they are great. Don't stress too much, there are positives to day care like socialization! They all get to a healthy place. Just enjoy!

Since you are diabetic, I guess you need to consult a doctor regarding this condition.
