hello all, I have been to my OB again and it seems that I am ovulating later than I should, so he has made the decision to start me on clomid...I am so nervous about this because I am 36,black and it will definitely be my luck to have a multiple pregnancy. Anyone else had to take this and did you have a single or multiple pregnancy..... please give me the lo dwn

I have no feedback on this (never having done clomid) but didn't want to read and run Hoping it turns out exactly how you want it to!

I have never used clomid, but I have known several moms who have. I heard it is hard on your body (but I don't know in what way). Multiple births is another possibility, like you said. But I don't think that's such a bad thing. How late are you ovulating, and I'm just wondering why that's a bad thing that needs to be adjusted? Just curious!

Thanks for the post rebelmommy, and to Aniland, the reason why he is going to start me on the clomid is that I have been actively trying for 6 months straight and nothing has happened. Sometimes I have a cycyle and sometimes I don't. So of course the months I do not have a cycle I don't ovulate. When I finally get a cycle they are over 35 days long and I ovulate later in the cycle. I would be very blessed to have twins, I figure this way I wouldn't have to go through all of this charting and OPK's but once. I really would be joyous

You do experience headaches, and mood swings while on clomid. You also feel ovulation more intensely but some people don't experience any side effects at all. My OB told me if I couldn't take it to call him but hopefully i won't feel a thing...fingers crossed
