Hello Ladies.. I can't even begin to tell you how I got here.. But I did.. Finally..

I wanted to share my story. My name is Bonnie. I am 42 years old. For the past three years, I've been to many fertility specialists of most that told me that I will not get pregnant because I have premature ovarian failure. I did find one doctor that I stuck with that said "hey, if you get your period, you can get pregnant".. I kept going to her and tried to get to the point where in-vitro but I wasn't producing enough eggs. Only one per month. I kept doing the injections each month in hopes that I would get more eggs. I continued this for many months until I just had enough!

I told my husband that I have-to stop these injections and we will just go with the flow. If I get preggo, I get preggo. If not, then I was never meant to be a mom.

My husband and I didn't think twice about it anymore. Sex was sex.. Not trying to make a baby sex! We relaxed..

Strangely, I missed my period for three months.. I took home pregnancy tests that turned out negative and went to three gynocologists that just looked at me and said "your going through menapuse". They said it's my age. Only one gyno took a urine test to see if I am pregnant and it was negative.

A little after three months of not getting my period, I started feeling dizzy spells. The first thing I thought of is.. Maybe I'll just get another home pregnancy test to see... ya never know.. but so doubtful because I am going through menapause... According to the doctors... I go home, take the pregnancy test that gives an approximate week of how far along I am, and it reads POSITIVE 2-3 weeks!!! I almost lost my head.. How did this happen? After all that I went through, the money that I spent, the docs that told me it won't happen for me......... I'm pregnant!!!!!!

I went to the doctor two days later and it was confirmed. I am now eight weeks pregnant. And I'm still in shock!

I have no children. I guess you can say that I started my life late but that's a whole other story. This is a miracle.. A pure miracle..

I read your story and brought a smile to my face. I am so happy for you Bonnie. As you know doctors don't know everything and it reminds of Charlotte on sex and the city she got pregnant after no trying anymore!

I am so happy for you! Post belly pics!

Thank you Boos Moo and Icymommy!! I'm glad I brought a smile to your face. If I learn how to post pics I'll be happy to show the belly. :-) I'm only eight weeks and it looks more like bloat than anything..
