I am just a couple days past my period (1/6 was start of last period). I have no clue when I ovulated as I never kept track. My periods are very normal (give or take a day or two). I have taken 9 different HPTs over the last 5 days. All have been positive, all different times of day, and all degrees of shaded. I have had minimal symptoms, like light cramps off & on for about a week, no bleeding, frequent urination, & easy to constipate if I don't watch what I eat. I'm normally the complete opposite with my BMs around AF time. I have no other symptoms.
My concern is if its still highly likely this is a chem pregnancy. I'm 39, so I know It's more difficult to get pregnant. Healthy as far as I know, don't smoke. I am supposed to go to planned Parenthood this Friday. Is that too soon for a positive test that is less sensitive? Otherwise, I have to wait till after Feb 19th to see my doctor, when my new insurance kicks in.
Well I would say you are definitely pregnant - and 39 is nothing as far as that goes. I am 44 and I got pregnant spontaneously twice in this last year. There are many many many women that get pregnant in their 40's. If you had 9 different positives (by the way, unless PP does a blood test they use the same tests that you buy at the store) then you are pregnant.
I think they might do a blood test, but I'm not for sure on that. And while 39 is 'older' you're still in the range (depending on other factors). I'm now 43 and 29 weeks along. Congrats. KUP on what you find out on Friday.
