First, I was folding clothes in the living room where she was playing in the floor. She left her toys behind and came over and sat at the basket. To my surprise, she reached in and pulled a piece of laundry out and handed it to me! I was so tickled! She continued to hand me one piece at a time until we got the whole basket full folded She was so proud of herself too, every time she picked up a piece she would stretch it out high over her head and just beam with a really proud grin across her face heheh.
She also learned how to "put toys IN" her basket. Until then, she sure knew how to get them out but didn't seem to understand how to put them in. Now we make a game of it and hand each other toys to put in the basket. Of course, they don't stay in there long lol.
I'm working on teaching her to hand me the little things she finds on the floor instead of sticking them in her mouth. I tell you, no matter how much I vacuum, sweep, or mop, she will find something left to put in her mouth. It will be a great relief when she learns to just hand those little things to mommy or daddy
