I found out I have high blood pressure. They want to check me again in 2 weeks. I am worry a little. Did it ever happen to somebody in the group? If the blood pressure is high again in 2 weeks, they are talking about giving me medication. Plus, I finally got to ask the doctor about my pain in the ribs. I always thought it must have been my baby moving around. I have been told I must have problems with my instestines. But the doc. seemed in a rush and I did not get to ask her much. Does it make sense what she told me? I would surely appreciate comments.
I've had several friends with high blood pressure issues. You definitely have to get it under control or baby will have to come early. They have medicine that is safe to take for hbp while pg and NOT taking it when you need it is dangerous for you both. They'll also keep a closer eye on you and baby, so more frequent appointments and u/s. My friends who kept their hbp under control had no problems carrying to term and delivering healthy babies.
Don't know anything helpful on the rib pain or intestinal issues. Hopefully someone else can give you some good info.

My SIL's bp went high towards the end of her pregnancy and they induced her a couple weeks before her due date. All went well and she's fine. I don't know much about the hbp, mine is always too low. But I think with the right medication and being monitored, you should be fine and baby will be too! Good luck.
I really appreciate your nice words. For now, I have read that some food could help reduced the bp some I am eating some garlic every day. I am also trying to relax as much as I can. It might sound silly but it does not hurt by trying. My next appointment is on the 31st.
