Yesterday I got a real bad pain in my ribs. Its mosty the middle, like the breast bone, and wraps around to the right side. My right collar bone area also hurts pretty badly when I move around. The rib pain is so bad it keeps me from bending much anymore. Its also worse if I reach forward with my right arm
I'm trying not to make it worse, but I'm here all day with the baby and have to pick her up and take care of her. This REALLY hurts. I'm wondering if its due to the pregnancy? I have a month to go.. I hope I don't have this pain for a month!
Sorry you are in pain......... I hope it heals soon. I had pain under my right breast (on the top of my round belly) like someone had kicked me hard and it was bruised. It hurt to move it, stretch it, or when I laughed. Is this your rib area? LOL I have no idea I thought it was round ligament pain and that I had pulled something due to the pregnancy. My pain comes and goes but was only bad for a couple days. I hope the next month goes by quick for you. Sometimes the last month of a pregnancy is the longest. I have 2 months left and I have not even began preparing the nursery or buying much of anything. I told my youngest daughter we would redo her bedroom (paint, new bedroom furniture etc.) before we did the babies room. I also want to get new living room furniture. I need to do so many things but I mainly do the "nesting" in my head. Have a good weekend.

Since you're so close to delivery, it sounds like baby may be wedged up under your ribs. I feel your pain! When I was pg with DS, he grew so fast in month 5-6 that he cracked one of my ribs. Not fun.
You might try getting down on all 4's and gently rocking side to side to see if baby will re-arrange for you. Just make sure you're in a place that you can get back up again (something close by to help you up, or someone else at home).
