I had my 36 wk appt today and the doctor said I am measuring 39 wks. I'm not sure what that means, only that he said the baby feels big. I have another appt next Friday and they will do an ultrasound to see what is going on. Any one have a similar situation and what did it mean?

Did he seem real concerned about measuring big? Maybe it was the way the baby was laying too.

At my last appointment at 24 weeks I was measuring a at 26 weeks but I am back at my prepregnancy weight so I wonder what I will be.

Hopefully everything is ok.

He wasn't overly concerned but he asked how big my other children were and said the baby felt about 8 lbs already. I guess if it was really urgent he would have done the ultra sound right away. I am just wondering if I should start getting ready for the big day. I don't really want a 10 lb baby

Well he is probably a little concerned, but not enough to cause a panic...Personally I would just go ahead and prepare myself...Truthfully you can have your baby any day now any how...Preparation never hurts....Good luck with everything

Yeah, my bags are packed and I am ready...well kinda. I think of so many things I still need to do. I shouldn't worry to much, both of my boys were 2 wks late so I could still have a long time to go.
