I've been wanting to become a surrogate for years. It has always been something that I have strongly wanted. I love being pregnant and I already have 3 wonderful children of my own but I'm not ready to have another of my own yet. But I would love to give the gift of a child to a family out there that really wants one.
The thing is though, I'm a military spouse. And I'm not sure how that works out with surrogacy. I can't do it now because I am in Italy, but as soon as we move back to the states I am going to be getting into the process. I've heard that it is possible, but I wasn't sure completely how. Have any of you ladies out there done surrogacy through the military?
I've found a few programs that do accept tricare insurance for coverage, but it was a weird and confusing process.
Anyway I'm glad to be here, and I hope to be able to get to know you wonderful ladies more.
