First of all, I just want to say that I think becoming a surrogate mother is one of the most selfless and admirable things a woman can do. I would like to become a gestational surrogate someday, maybe in a few years after I've had a child or two of my own. I was hoping some of you who have done this could tell me a little bit about what it was like for you. I personally would only be able to be a gestational because then I wouldn't really consider the child my own since biologically, it isn't and that would be easier to hand him or her over at birth. What do you think? What kind of surrogate are/were you? Do you still keep in touch with the family whose child you gave birth to?

Well, I'm wishing you good luck. I've been waiting for 6 months for the perfect IPs to come along, and well its not early either hun. I myself is a gestational surrogate as well do to the same thing you have. Plus my soon to be husband rather me be an GS anyway. He fully supports me in any way as long I'm not the bio to the child/ren.
