How do you offer the option of being a surrogate to someone? I have a friend who was supposed to finally get her baby, the baby was born and the birth mom decided she wanted to spend time with the baby... time turned into a week and a half and then she decided she wanted to keep her. I so badly just want to email her right now and offer the option to her, but I don't know if that's appropriate. Help.

That's so sad, I'm so sorry to hear this story. I think it would be very generous and kind of you to offer her this option. I would suggest you call her or talk to her about it in person.
