I started taking the progesterone when I got confirmation from docs office of pregnancy. I take one in them morn and one at night. I have had no side effects at all. Normally I dnt get side effects when I take fertility medications.

I'm taking Prometrium (which I guess is a brand of progesterone) and well the first cycle I took it my boobs hurt really bad and tmi, I got two zits on my boobs that kindof looked like a vampire bite. This cycle, I had one day of sort of sore boobs and nothing since.

This of course leads me to believe that the first IUI was closer to being a sticky bean than this one.

I starting taking vaginal suppositories the day I found out I was pregnant. It's hard to know symptoms because I think they are the same as pregnancy symptoms.

Advice if you are taking them while pregnant... don't worry if you have a little spotting, sometimes they can irritate your cervix.

I'm taking them right now and I have the most horrible symptoms and I'm confused because they are like pregnancy symptoms. I'm feeling really irritable and keep crying, af like cramps plus some pulling/twisting like twinges, tired, sore breasts etc...

I hope I'm pregnant and don't have to experience these hormones again for nothing!

I just have 3 days to go to my beta test and i am trying to stay positive I had cramping for a few days last week and the cramping has died down i just feel little cramps on and off. i am so afraid the crinone is delaying my period and that i am going to make it to the best test and they are going to call me and tell me its negative. i hear that progesterone can make your period not come but does it happen more often then not? i am trying to stay positive but i am so scared its going to be negative. any thoughts or advice?

I've just started Cyclogest (progesterone) 300mg. I have had a short luteal phase for a long time (ie period comes less than 10 days after ovulating) but finally the progesterone is helping! I am 11dpo today!

I started at 1dpo and have found my usual PMS (bad mood, headaches, bloating, cravings, spots, cramping) are all lessoned and I feel great! I usually get sore boobs from 1dpo to 7dpo (then AF) but this time they started feeling tender from about 5dpo and are still tender.
I'm not sleeping so well, feel hotter but that can be anxiety and eagerness to get another day on my LP.

I'm not sure when to stop or if my period can come whilst taking them? If I test negative at 14dpo I will prob stop? I'll keep you posted!

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!
