I was on this IM injection for about 8 weeks when I was pregnant for my son before I was taken off of it. The injections do get easier and my DH became a pro at it. I took it every evening at the same time. I can't remember because it was two years ago, but it might have been around 8pm or so. I would just ice the area where the injection would be that night..get it good and numb and that was it. After awhile the areas on both sides became sore and created scar tissue for at least 8 months into my pregnancy. Now I have no problems where the injections were.
